Michael has been working globally in the information technology industry for almost 20 years. His career has seen him perform as a programmer, business analyst, project manager and as a lawyer specialising in Technology Law.
He possesses a depth of domain experience few lawyers have. This enables him to provide practical legal solutions to corporations engaging in technology-based business transactions.

Already designated a Risk and Governance Professional and Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia, and a chartered secretary.
Michael regularly advises boards on a range of corporate, governance and risk management matters.
Michael is also a specialist Startup Lawyer (Brisbane) who advises business owners and entrepreneurs from startup through scaleup.
Michael’s background in management consulting has endowed him with experience working across a very wide range of industries. This allows him to come up to speed very quickly where his clients have unique requirements.
He regularly advises on, reviews and prepares a wide range of transactional needs including Service Agreements, supply and sales Terms of Trade, non-disclosure deeds, Intellectual Property Protection and unique industry specific requirements.
Where the work extends beyond his own skill set he has the project management experience to guide a multi-disciplinary team (including specialist lawyers) to deliver on his client’s requirements.
